BodmasBooksAI ("we", "us", "our") is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued and how payment disputes are handled. All payments are processed securely through Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor.

Nature of Our Service

BodmasBooksAI is a digital SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized cold emails. Our service operates on a credit-based system:

Free Plan: 5 email credits per month — R0

Starter Plan: 100 email credits per month — R499/month

Pro Plan: Unlimited email credits — R999/month

Each credit generates one AI-powered personalized email. A 4-email sequence consumes 4 credits. Credits reset monthly on your billing cycle date.

Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full or partial refund under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period.
  • Service unavailability: If our platform experienced extended downtime (more than 24 consecutive hours) during your billing period, preventing you from using your credits.
  • Unauthorized charge: If a payment was processed without your authorization. We will cooperate fully with Paystack's fraud investigation.
  • Within 7 days, unused credits: If you request a refund within 7 days of your initial subscription and have used fewer than 10% of your allocated credits.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Credits that have already been consumed (emails generated).
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated email quality, as output varies based on input provided. We recommend using the Free plan to evaluate the service before upgrading.
  • Requests made more than 30 days after the charge date.
  • Unused credits that expire at the end of your billing cycle (credits do not roll over).

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

We will acknowledge your refund request within 24 hours of receiving it.

We will review your request and usage data within 3-5 business days.

Processing

Approved refunds are processed through Paystack. Funds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

Dispute Resolution Process

If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of a refund request, or if you have raised a chargeback through your bank, the following process applies:

Step 1: Direct Resolution

Contact us at [email protected]. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably within 5 business days.

Step 2: Paystack Mediation

If we cannot reach a resolution directly, either party may escalate the dispute through Paystack's built-in dispute resolution system. Paystack will review the evidence from both sides and facilitate a resolution.

Step 3: Bank Chargeback

If a chargeback is filed through your bank, we will respond through the Paystack dispute process with supporting evidence including transaction records, account activity logs, and service delivery confirmation. The bank's decision in such cases is final.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation.
  • Your account will revert to the Free plan with 5 credits per month.
  • Your email generation history will be preserved.
